Sometimes you just need to sow your wild oats.
This Organic Grain Cleanser is just the thing to give you a daily or weekly light exfoliation in 3 ways. Wild Oats are known for their soothing and anti-itch properties while helping to physically remove dead skin build-up. (Oatmeal scrubs, baths, and masques have been used generation after generation for many skin problems) Milk powder contains lactic acid, which provides a deeper (aha-type) exfoliation. Papaya enzymes digest impurities in your skin’s cells and prevent clogged pores. Using three different types of exfoliation at once, rather than one type of a stronger exfoliant, will keep your skin healthy-looking and fresh, never irritated. The herbs of coriander, soothing aloe vera, healing comfrey, cumin, elderflower, vetivert sandalwood and nutmeg calm and nourish your skin.
DIRECTIONS:
This powdered cleanser should be mixed at a one to one ratio (1 tsp grain + 1 tsp liquid-making a runny paste) with:
water (for any skin type)
cream (for dry skin)
yoghurt (for hyperpigmentation)
Scientists at Waikato University recently documented that honey supports the skins' own cell renewal process, assists in the formation of stronger collagen which is responsible for the skins elasticity. Honey contains anitoxidants and is a natural antimicorobial agent. Of course, the town-folk have known that since ancient times!
Once a week, I recommend mixing your wild oats with honey (1 tsp grain + 1 tbsp honey) for a wonderful and natural masque. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and follow with your regular skin care routine.
